Impedamentia
Today, I went to the M&T bank to open an account for my new business. It’s a dingy little bank just a block away from a shiny new Bank of America, but Bank of America is like a Dracula, as far as I’m concerned. Also, the M&T gave me an electric screwdriver for becoming their customer . . . an unfortunate metaphor, but at least now something can be done with all of those loose screws.

The other thing that happened today is nothing.

M&T Web Banking for Business is positiviely the WORST on line banking product I've ever experienced. It's worse than having to write checks manually and mail them. Their customer service is no better. The nearest branch to our house has limited window hours, no Saturday hours, and during a trip to deposit some checks in May, was robbed while I was in line. You'll be needing the screwdriver...

The other thing that happened to me was nothing, too. KISMET! KISMET!

Linda: NOW you tell me. If you know of a bank in Fells Point that isn't Bank of America, I'm all ears.
sMush: KISMET spelled backwards is TEMSIK . . . and nobody wants that.
